Now that we all have a little more time on our hands, we can check out some really special websites.  You can see some very nice Spanish lace, read some history on this lace and get information on purchasing the patterns on the following site:

www.geocities.com/carolgallego/lacespain.html

Did you know there is a needle museum?  Well there is.   Lee found this one “Forge Hill Needle Museum.  Housed in a lovely 18th century mill, the museum tells the long history of the manufacture of needles and fishing tackle in the Redditch area (England) over the past 3 centuries.  For more information go to:

www.britainexpress.com/counties/worcestershire/museums/forge-hill.ht

Last year, Jeri Ames wrote a detailed article about cleaning lace for Arachne.  It may be of interest to collectors of antique laces, and is available at the following site:http://www.honitonlace.com

Click on “Cleaning Lace” in the menu.  Click on “here” in the first paragraph of the text.  (Thanks Jeri.  Ed.)
