Welcome! Founded in 1976, the LOST ART LACERS OF NORTH JERSEY is an organization of lacemakers and lace enthusiasts based in Northwest New Jersey, USA. Our purpose is to preserve the art and craft of lacemaking, to stimulate interest in and appreciation for all facets of the history, the art and craft of lacemaking.

We are a Chartered Chapter of the International Organization of Lace, Inc. Members demonstrate lacemaking at such places as:

The group offers to its members the following:

  • Access to an extensive library of books and videos on lacemaking
  • Newsletters eight times a year
  • Workshops with professional instructors
  • The opportunity to share information and knowledge with other lacemakers

Meetings are held in Newton, NJ usually on a Saturday afternoon of each month; September through May. Workshops and other fun events are held during the months of June, July, and August. For directions or more information, please contact Lee Daly.
