Founded in 1976, the Lost Art Lacers seek to preserve, encourage, and promote the making of handmade lace. Our members work in all the major forms of lacemaking:

Bobbin Lace, Knitting, Crochet, Tatting, Needle Lace , Drawn & Pulled Thread Work

Our demonstrations are in great demand. We have been seen at:

· Millbrook Village, in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

· The New Jersey State Fair / Sussex County Farm & Horse Show

· Cooper Mill, Chester, New Jersey

· Stickley Farms, Parsippany, New Jersey

· Grey Towers, Milford, Pennsylvania

The group offers to its members the following:

· Access to an extensive library of books and videos on lacemaking

· Newsletters 8 times per year

· Advance information of Lace Days and Exhibits

· Workshops with professional instructors

· The opportunity to share information and knowledge with other lacemakers

The yearly dues are $15.00. Please make checks payable to The Lost Art Lacers in the amount of $15.00 and enclose with the application form.
